Military Monday

Today's Military Monday post, I am posting one of my own.

December  14th, 2006.

I took this photograph as we were leaving the airport.

This was my husband's first deployment to Afghanistan and he was home for his two week R&R.

He had made it home in time for Christmas.

This is one of my favorite coming home photographs from this deployment.

This little boy I believe is now three years old.

And he is adorable!

He and his sister Ada came to the Summer Camp Mini Sessions this year.

He was so sweet to his sister. And he loved to sing........

I hope you enjoyed this Give Back Friday!

Kelly, these pictures will be sent you you shortly.

It doesn't get any cuter than this!

Bright ruffly skirt, tiny rainbow cake, little piggy tails, bright blue eyes, happy little grin and chocolate cake and icing on fingers, nose and toes.

I photographed this little girl, Jessa, when she turned a year old. This is by far, my favorite cake smash session to date.

This was my very first military session.

I photographed this in 2007, at Camp Lejeune.

It is probably one of my favorite military sessions that I have photographed.

Military Mondays.

I have decided to start something new.

I have decided to post every Monday, a picture or two from military sessions I have photographed in the past. It may be military sessions I have photographed, or it may be a photograph from our life as a military family.

Photographs that belong here, to be seen.

It all started with going through this blog and categorizing posts. I realized there are so many photographs that aren't here (being that they are on the old blog and never were transferred over).

Military sessions hold a special place for me.

I love to photograph them.

And I love to give back, something special to keep forever.

If you are military, I love giving back, and do so by what I have put together for military sessions. You can read all about it by clicking the tab above labeled, "For Our Heroes".

I can't wait to begin this.

I believe this little girl is starting kindergarten this year.

She has a little sister now.

Time goes by fast and they sure grow up quickly.

She was one of several of my very first clients when I began in photography years ago.

I couldn't believe these pictures didn't make it to her gallery. But when I looked through her photographs from this session, I know why. This is the same session that some of my favorite pictures still today came from.....the pictures of her in the vintage pram.

I hope you enjoyed this Give Back Friday!

A new one will be posted every Friday morning, so be sure to visit here to see if your little one is the "Give Back Friday" pick for the week.

Alison, these pictures will be sent to you shortly.

Give Back Fridays.

Thursday, July 18, 2013

I have decided to start something new.

I have decided to post every Friday, a picture or two from sessions I have photographed in the past.

There may be only one picture or there may be several.

I am going to pick them randomly, pull a few pictures that never made it to a clients gallery (for one of many reasons), edit and post these pictures, and give a little history behind the photographs.

Then, providing I have the clients contact information, these pictures will be sent to the home they belong in.

It all started with going through this blog and categorizing posts. I realized there are so many photographs that aren't here (being that they are on the old blog and never were transferred over). I then started going through the folders that I have and realizing there are so many pictures that are amazing and never made it to a gallery. Most of the time it was because the gallery was already full of amazing photographs, and I had already gone over the number of pictures that I allow and I had to pick the very best ones for the gallery.

I can't wait to begin this.

I already have tomorrow's "Give Back Fridays" photographs ready to go.

Who is it?

I'll never tell, you will just have to wait and see.
